Isn’t this bathroom divine….
It was voted Australia’s favourite bathroom in the annual Reece Beautiful Bathroom competition.
And deservedly so, I think.
On the other hand, if there was a competition to find Australia’s ugliest bathroom, I’m pretty sure my house would win it. An original from 1961, our bathroom is helplessly hideous.
But having said that, I do have a bit of appreciation for it:
1. It serves its purpose well enough (somewhere to wash, change, dress up etc.)
2. It helped us to get our house at a lower price and now we can enjoy designing a nice new bathroom to our liking .
And so we have the builder booked in to start the bathroom renovation next week. So excited!!

(I’ll save the full photos for 3 weeks time when I’ll have the before and after photos to show! But don’t expect it to be quite as fancy as the Reece one!)
The floor is red:

The shower walls are blue:
The vanity is beige with spots:
And the sink is pink:
Yep, it will be a refreshing change :)
